Dr. De Liu
Academic Director of Information and Decision Sciences
Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. De Liu is a Xian Dong Eric Jing Professor of Information and Decision Sciences at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. His research interests include AI and Augmented Intelligence, gamification, and online social platforms with a focus on how human-technology interaction designs affect engagement and outcomes. He is the academic director for the MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at the Carlson School and teaches analytics and information systems courses at undergraduate, master, and PhD levels.
Prof. Mochen Yang
Associate Professor of Information and Decision Sciences
Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota Mochen Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information and Decision Sciences at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. His research interests include the "make" and "use" aspects of algorithmic decision-making, where he designs algorithms to support decision-making in information-intensive environments and examines the antecedents of algorithmic reliance as well as its impact on decision quality, fairness, and privacy. He teaches business analytics and machine learning related topics at the graduate and executive levels.
