Control Design & Monitoring Analyst
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Abhishek Pandey is a Control Design & Monitoring Analyst at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he is responsible for designing, monitoring, and enhancing the internal control framework. In this role, he leverages tools such as Excel (VBA), SQL, and PowerBI to collect, analyze, and visualize data, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of control processes. Abhishek works closely with various stakeholders to identify issues or gaps in control procedures and implements solutions to address them. Khasim Shaik, MSBA class of 2019
Data Scientist
Shopify Khasim Shaik possesses a robust skill set in Machine Learning and Data Science, with expertise in building Neural Network models and applying a variety of algorithms such as Random Forests, Logistic and Linear Regressions, as well as bagging and ensemble methods. He is proficient in advanced SQL and has hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, including Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Engine. In addition, Khasim is well-versed in Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Pig, MongoDB, and Sqoop, enabling him to handle and analyze large-scale datasets effectively. He has also developed interactive user dashboards in Tableau and created data visualizations using R's ggplot, providing stakeholders with actionable insights in a user-friendly format. Khasim’s diverse technical skill set allows him to tackle complex data challenges across various domains with efficiency and precision.
Praveen Gounder
Current MSBA student (Ex Data Scientist)
Emory University's Goizueta Business School (Ex Accenture) Praveen Gounder is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at Emory University's Goizueta Business School, where he also serves as a Program Admissions Fellow, assisting with student recruitment and promoting the program. With over two years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst at Accenture, Praveen led data-driven projects for global clients, utilizing machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization to uncover insights and drive business strategies. Proficient in tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, he excels at transforming complex data into actionable recommendations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Mary Hall
Director of Graduate Admissions
Emory University's Goizueta Business School Mary Hall is an experienced higher education professional with a strong background in graduate admissions and recruitment. Currently serving as the Director of Graduate Admissions at Emory University's Goizueta Business School since February 2024, she oversees the recruitment process for various graduate programs, including the Master of Analytical Finance, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master in Management, and Master in Business for Veterans programs. Previously, she held the role of Assistant Director, Specialized Masters at Goizueta, where she managed the recruitment and evaluation of candidates for the school’s specialized programs, including conducting interviews and representing Emory at recruitment events. Mary also served as an Admissions Advisor for Emory’s Master in Analytical Finance and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs, helping to identify and recommend qualified candidates. With an MBA in Marketing from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, she brings a strategic approach to admissions and a deep understanding of the higher education landscape.
