Dr. Kislaya Prasad
Research Professor, Department of Decision, Operations & Information Technologies Academic Director, Center for Global Business
Univeristy of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business Dr. Kislaya Prasad is a Research Professor at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and Academic Director of its Center for Global Business, a U.S. Department of Education–funded national resource center. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University. Previously, he has taught at Florida State University, University of Cambridge, Northwestern University, and NYU, and served as a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. His research, published in leading economic journals and supported by NSF grants, spans economics, technology, and global business. At Smith, he teaches Microeconomics, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning across Ph.D., MBA, EMBA, and MS programs, and his thought leadership has appeared in outlets such as Fortune, U.S. News & World Report, and The Hill.
