Signs of that risk include volatile stock markets, a bunch of little technology advances that lead us into an age of digital disruption, CEOs of some of the biggest companies in the world trying to defend their strategy and discussing how they're trying to alter their business model, and even Wall Street telling CEOs to disrupt themselves or else. Add to this risk the ESG movement and then COVID-19 and we find ourselves in one of the riskiest time periods in history. How are organizations supposed to respond to this risk? Many are spending more time evaluating strategy and risk. Others are getting together more frequently to identify the key risk earlier. And finally many organizations around the world are building an enterprise risk management process to help them navigate an uncertain and risky world.
