This session is designed to provide practical, current guidance to help you plan your next steps with more confidence. You will hear from immigration experts on recent changes to Canadian immigration policy, including updates affecting master’s students (such as the removal of caps for master’s programs), and what these changes can mean for study permits, eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), and longer-term pathways. You will also hear from career experts at Schulich’s Centre for Career Design on career outcomes in Canada today, how international students can set realistic expectations, and the strategies that help students position themselves for employment success during and after their studies. A Schulich alumnus will also share their real experience navigating the transition from international student to working professional and permanent resident. The session will conclude with a live Q&A so you can bring your questions and leave with clearer, actionable takeaways.
